Upon finishing high school, he enrolled at the Pacific Conservatory of the Performing Arts in Santa Maria. In addition, Dorien studied acting at the American Conservatory Theatre in San Francisco. His first job upon graduation was as a drama teacher, but Wilson also began appearing in various local productions such as the musical “Carousel”, the play “Hank Williams: The King of Country Music”, musical “Dreamgirls”, “The Tempest” and many others, all of which contributd steadily to his net worth.
Eventually, as his acting career took off, he moved to San Francisco where he began landing television roles including in the hit TV series “Murphy Brown”(1993). After moving back to Los Angeles again, Wilson was rewarded with the role of Eddie Charles in “Dream On”, which brought him recognition and fame among the public.
