The son of Carmelo Anthony and American TV personality Lala Anthony, Kiyan is an aspiring basketball star who stands around 6 foot 2, a full head taller than his mother, as seen in this Instagram snap in 2022. In another Instagram post from November 2021, the proud mom wrote, "My baby @kiyananthony is growing up soooo fast ... he's taller than me ... faster than me." He is already following in his father's footsteps, and his dad was happy to announce the news of him playing basketball at Christ the King High School in Queens, New York, via Twitter. 

Lala and Carmelo had their fair share of makeups and breakups through the years, but Lala filed for divorce in June of 2021 after 11 years of marriage, per TMZ. The two are committed to co-parenting their son, as sources told TMZ in 2021 that they remain friends and want a smooth transition for Kiyan.
