At a young age, Brisco’s life was filled with tragedy with his mother passing away when he was nine years old, and four years later, his brother was killed in a car accident. When he was 14 years old, he was then introduced to E-Class who was the founder of Poe Boy Entertainment.
E-Class would encourage him to express the hardships of his life through rap. Eventually, he was signed to Poe Boy and received a $400,000 life insurance check which increased his net worth somewhat before it was all spent. In 2006, he began being heard on tracks from DJ Khaled’s album “Listennn…the Album”, then appeared as a guest performer, and would work on “Port of Miami” by Rick Ross. There he was introduced to Lil Wayne, who would sign him to Cash Money Records. He started working on the album “Street Medicine” including the songs “I’m into Dat” and “Opa-locka”, but made his debut as part of Cash Money on the mixtape “Da Drought 3” made by Lil Wayne.
In the next few years, Brisco would continue to be heard on various albums such as “We the Best” by DJ Khaled, “Tha Carter III” by Lil Wayne, and “Mail on Sunday” by Flo Rida. Afterwards, he would release his own singles “In the Hood” and “Just Know Dat”, which featured Lil Wayne too. In 2008, he released a mix tape called “From Date to Duva” which he worked on with DJ Bigga Rankin, and the following year showed more diversity with the song “Catch 22”. He originally planned his album to be released in 2010, and even did a promotional tour, however, it has not yet been released.
In 2011, Brisco joined the pro wrestling and hiphop collaboration entitled Urban Wrestling Federation. The following year, he released the song “Chocolate Dream” produced by Fatboi.
It is known that Brisco has had controversies with other rappers in the past. He released diss records that aimed at Waka Flocka Flame and Gucci Mane. This was actually a response to the Gucci Mane song “Heavy” which dissed him as well. This quarrel did not last long though as they have since put their differences behind them.
For his personal life, information is non-existent, including rumours of relationships, which Brisco obviously keeps very private.
